If you’re familiar with our publications, YES — Oalia User Interface is no stranger to you. The 2026 edition, however, marks a special milestone: it’s not just a simple ergonomic upgrade, but a fundamental editorial decision, designed to address the long-term challenges facing procurement departments.
Sovereignty
Sovereignty is now a major concern for major clients, and we can only welcome this. At Oalia, this translates into concrete decisions. Since late 2023, we have chosen to design and control our own UX/UI foundation, based on native web components, integrated at the core of our platform. This choice guarantees total independence from third-party frameworks, whose obsolescence cycles, technological dependencies, and imposed roadmaps are rarely compatible with the requirements of critical procurement systems.
Business Components
OUI 2026 is not a graphical layer. It is a strategic application platform, designed to handle complex business rules—particularly regulatory ones—and high volumes of data, while ensuring readability, performance, and security over the long term. Procurement tools operate in highly constrained environments: legal requirements, evolving regulatory frameworks, disclosure obligations (such as those related to OJEU notices), a multitude of stakeholders, and enhanced traceability. OUI 2026 is designed to natively integrate this complexity without passing it on to users. To make these constraints fully operational, Oalia develops specialized business components, designed holistically and integrated at the core of the platform. They translate legal, functional, and organizational rules into simple, consistent, and productive workflows, while securing the processes.
Objectives of business components: to translate legal, functional, and organizational rules into simple, consistent, and productive workflows, while ensuring process security.
Humanizing the interface: speed, clarity, and accessibility in the service of real-world workflows
The humanization of an interface is neither a cosmetic nor an emotional matter. In OUI 2026, it is based on a simple conviction: a high-performance business tool is one that speaks the language of its users, respects their pace, and reduces cognitive load. The illustration of dates—yesterday, today, tomorrow—is emblematic of this approach.
Rather than imposing an abstract or technical interpretation of time, the interface uses a reference that is immediately understandable, aligned with the way users actually envision their activities.
Accessibility
While the legal framework of RGAA 4.1.2 applies to our clients, accessibility is not treated as a constraint added as an afterthought. It is integrated by design, as a natural extension of the interface’s human-centered approach.
The goal is not just regulatory compliance, but the reliability of the user experience, regardless of usage conditions. Oalia seeks to maximize the accessibility of its solutions.
The integration of artificial intelligence
Artificial intelligence requires an interface that enables the orchestration and monitoring of processes carried out by LLMs. Our ambition is to make AI an operational tool, integrated into business processes, rather than an opaque or experimental overlay.
For the user, the results are structured, contextualized, and presented directly within the interface, tailored to shoppers’ habits, with trust indicators, prioritized summaries, and explicit recommendations. This is precisely where OUI 2026 plays a key role.
